Ahson Wali is a native Texan born in Houston, Texas. After graduating from the University of Houston with his bachelors degree, he attended law school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Ahson focused mainly on trial advocacy with the hope of someday being able to use his skills to help people in the courtroom. In 2011, after graduating law school and passing the bar, Ahson began work as a deputy public defender for the Colorado State Public Defender System. Ahson left after two years to start his own consumer protection and civil litigation firm in Denver, Colorado. But after living in Colorado for ten years, Ahson and his family decided it was time to head back to Texas. Ahson focuses his practice on subject areas and clients that he is passionate about. Ahson speaks Spanish, English, and Urdu. When Ahson isn't in the courtroom or at his office, he enjoys running, barbecuing, spending time with his family, and watching basketball.
